Livestock producers have 1.5 years to adapt to the international food safety management system. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Elena Kovaleva, during the meeting of the agrarian committee in Novovolynsk, Volyn region.

The Deputy Minister stressed that the transition to this system will raise the quality of Ukrainian products and simplifies the producers’ exit to international markets.

“The last “deadline” is January 1, 2019. It should be introduced even by small producers of livestock products. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy organizes free seminars in all regions, if necessary, please, ” Elena Kovaleva added.
