As part of the food quality control program, ice cream and frozen food from leading Ukrainian enterprises was tested. Such a study took place at the initiative of the Association of Ukrainian Producers “Ice Cream and Frozen Foods” (AUBM and ZP), which is a member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
In general, 8 samples of ice cream were tested on physicochemical and organoleptic parameters in the State Enterprise “All-Ukrainian State Research and Production Center for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Consumer Protection”. According to the results of the research, all the tested samples proved to be in compliance with the requirements of normative documents for the production of ice cream and frozen products.
In addition, the Association developed Guidelines for compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Basic Principles and Requirements for Safety and Quality of Food Products” for companies producing ice cream.
