The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada through diplomatic channels informed the official Kiev of the final completion by the Canadian side of the procedure for the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada.
It was written by Ukrinform.
Thus, the process of ratification of the Agreement has come to an end and it will enter into force on August 1.
Recall, the agreement was signed on July 11 last year during the visit of Justin Trudeau to Kiev. With its entry into force, Canada will abolish duties by 99.9% of Ukrainian imports. In turn, Ukraine will also cancel 86% of duties on imports from Canada for 7 years, bringing the customs policy into parity.
